We have a couple of guest speakers coming to RBC the week of May 29th. Both of them are connected to RBC’s national missions efforts.
On Sunday, May 29th, at the morning service, Rev. Steven Stallard of Mosaic Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY will be here to talk to us about Mosaic’s work in the Crown Heights neighborhood. An RBC mission team worked with Mosaic for a few days in 2015, and another team will be returning to Brooklyn this August to do more mission work with the church.
On Wednesday, June 1st, Rev. Steven Shumate, pastor of Panther Baptist Church in West Virginia will be with us for our evening prayer service. RBC has made multiple mission trips to McDowell County, WV, and has worked with Rev. Shumate on several of these trips. Rev. Shumate is working to make a difference in this poverty-stricken area of WV.
Plan to be here for both of these special services to hear how these men are spreading the gospel and sharing God’s love in places that desperately need it.
