Riverside celebrated our 100th Anniversary as a church on February 19, 2022. This video was produced as part of that celebration.

This video is sort of a “year-in-review” for Riverside Baptist Church’s West Virginia mission efforts. It focuses on two trips to McDowell County, WV: one for Vacation Bible School in July, and a food box delivery trip in December.

The 4th West Virginia Missions video for 2013 shows how Riverside Baptist Church’s mission efforts are expanding. Where RBC once helped only two small churches in the area, now they are finding ways to branch out and help in other areas as well. In this video, the RBC mission team visits The Community Crossing in Welch, WV, delivers coats to Horse Creek and High Knob churches, and reaches out to people in the surrounding community.

In December 2013, a Riverside Baptist Church mission team traveled from Haywood County, NC to Brooklyn, NY to do mission work with Park Slope Community Church. This video documents the work the RBC team did in New York, and the new experiences that they had in a place that is very different from home.

Two weeks after hosting a one-day Vacation Bible School at Horse Creek Church, members of Riverside Baptist Church returned to deliver backpacks loaded with school supplies to the kids.

In July 2013, Riverside Baptist Church returned to Horse Creek Church in Panther, West Virginia to deliver more donated goods and conduct a one-day Vacation Bible School. This documentary-style video was created to show the members of RBC who their donations of goods and money are helping and how.

For more than 10 years, Riverside Baptist Church has been delivering donated clothes, furniture, and food to churches in West Virginia about once a year. I was asked to go on this trip and document it so that people who can’t go will be able to see where their donations are going and how they are helping the people in the area.
